BSP Version | M251_Series_BSP_CMSIS_V3.02.007 |
Hardware | NuMaker-M251SD V1.1 |
This example code uses the M251 series microcontroller (MCU) to control a single RGB LED on a fan blade to achieve various lighting effects.
The fan used is a model with built-in three-color LED lights on the blades. This fan is mainly used as a cooling unit on graphics cards. In addition to its original cooling function, it can also enhance visual appeal through various lighting effects. The visual effects for lighting on graphics cards can generally be divided into three types. The first type places lights around the outer ring of the fan slot, using light strips to create lighting effects. The second type treats the fan itself as a lampshade, achieving lighting effects by placing lights at the hub. The last type, which is introduced in this example code, embeds an RGB LED on one of the fan blades. By coordinating the fan’s rotation speed with the LED, various lighting effects can be achieved.
